- Firstly there are the worksheets that I used in class, both as PDFs and word documents. This internal was done with my lower ability class,
so they needed quite a bit of practice on each type. If you were doing this with a higher ability class you possibly wouldn't need to do as
many exercises.
Worksheet 1: Graphing Linar Equations PDF Version Word Version Worksheet 2: Graphing without the Axis PDF Version Word Version Worksheet 3a: Graphing Inequalities PDF Version Word Version Worksheet 3b: Graphing Inequalities PDF Version Word Version Worksheet 4a: Finding Critical Points PDF Version Word Version Worksheet 4b: Finding Critical Points PDF Version Word Version Worksheet 4c: Finding Critical Points PDF Version Word Version - There are some revision sheets (with scaffolding) from Rochelle Telfer which are a great next step to get the students going.
Revision 1: Murder Burger PDF Version Word Version Revision 2: Leo's Laundromat PDF Version Word Version Revision 3 PDF Version Word Version - Then there is my masterpiece... the Internal Generator for the students to practice with. If you click on this link it will create a new internal every time you refresh the page. Currently it has 3 types of internals, a shop, a farm and a bakery. If you have suggestions for other types of things I could add into it please let me know... as the more variety in it the better. It also works out the answers for you which the students can use to check if they are on the right track.
- Another teacher who has asked not to be named also came up with the great idea of using GeoGebra for this internal. I have put these files here for
you to use if you would like to go down this track... I think it is a really great idea. GeoGebra is a free program which can be downloaded from
http://www.geogebra.org/
